Marina Grande
Marina Grande is the main port of the island of Capri in Italy, to the north of the main town of Capri and at the foot of Mount Solaro.
The Marina Piccola, on the island's southern shore, preceded the Marina Grande. An ancient fishing port, the Romans used the Marina Grande as a port during Augustian times, and built the Palazzo a Mare nearby. Tiberius fortified and reinforced Marina Grande. Capri was also the first point in Campania in which the Greeks landed and women on Capri are still said to "still sometimes show distinctly Grecian features". In the seventh century, Bishop Costanzo died near Marina Grande and became the island's patron saint; the Chiesa di San Costanzo is situated between Marina Grande and Anacapri.
Those who come from Naples by boat will land at Marina Grande. There are many yachts docked on the shore, and there are rows of colored houses on the shore, which are very childlike under the blue sky. Next to the terminal is the information center and bus ticket office. The beach is divided into a public free area and a toll area belonging to the Club store.
Scene in JOJO: Bucciarati and his team took a yacht from Porto di Napoli to Capri and defeated Zucchero (Soft Machine) on board. During the trip, the famous scene "Gangster Dance" was born. After that, Giorno and Mista first arrived at Marina Grande to observe the enemy's whereabouts.
